Our chef is highly skilled in preparing nutritious meals which are great tasting and pleasing to the eye. To help individualize a client’s dietary needs, our chef works in tandem with a full-time registered dietician who has the expertise to create a meal plan that maximizes healing and recovery. The goal is to create a diet with the right amount of protein, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals for maintaining optimum health.
Understanding what foods to eat is only part of the process to establishing healthy eating habits. Learning to cook and preparing healthy meals is also important. When our clients leave Vizown, we want them to have the skills needed to maintain their healthy lifestyle. Our chef teaches each client how to use the most up-to-date healthy cooking techniques. This includes educating the clients on how to select the best ingredients and prepare the food in an artful presentation.
